Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean. We stayed in room one which was huge, with a Juliet balcony. Large extremely comfortable bed made for an excellent night’s sleep. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. Lovely living room area and kitchenette.

We had lunch at the Castell during a visit to the village in late November, so we were offered the Festive Menu. Everything was perfect. Service, quality, quantity were top notch. Finished the meal with a pot of tea in front of the log fire. We both felt it was the best turkey roast ever !
